Lead volume is not the same as revenue
Many small companies do not need more leads first. They need fewer dropped leads. A request should never arrive as a mystery message with no owner, no next step, and no record of what was promised. Before a company spends more on ads, it should know how requests enter, how fast they get a first response, what information is needed to quote, and where proof gets stored.
Manual intake can be clean
Start with one form and one queue. Do not ask for twenty fields if seven will qualify the job. The goal is to capture enough context to route the request and enough contact data to follow up. Every request should end the day in one of five states: new, waiting on customer, quoted, scheduled, or closed.
Where 0S changes the workload
0S turns intake into a company system. The same request can create a packet, route through a gate, attach documents to a vault, trigger a follow-up, and later become proof for an owner review.
